The 2023 Direct Entry (DE) registration deadline has been extended by one week by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
The DE registration exercise, which began on Monday, 20 March, and was scheduled to expire on Thursday, 20 April 2023, was announced to have been extended until 20 May 2023 shortly after the Board's management meeting.
The Board's decision to change its position on the exclusion of the Cambridge certificate from DE registration was influenced by all by the Council.
As a result, all Cambridge Certificate holders who wish to register for the 2023 Direct Entry can do so by going to the Board office that is most convenient for them.
Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the Board's spokesperson, explained that the extension was made in part to give all holders of Cambridge A/Level Certificates who were unable to register for the exercise due to some problems with the verification of their certificates another opportunity to do so as well as to accommodate others who wish to register but were unable to do so within the allotted time.
Benjamin continued by saying that the Board's decision to change its position on the exclusion of the Cambridge certificate from DE registration was influenced by the Council's offer of a verification site.
As a result, all Cambridge Certificate holders who wish to register for the 2023 Direct Entry can do so by going to the Board office that is most convenient for them.
